Heather’s Yoga Retreat November 7th – 10th

We are excited to announce that we are the official venue for Heather Sharplin’s 3 night YOGA RETREAT Heather held November 7th – 10th!

Reconnect with your practice at this 3-night retreat in laid-back Raglan. With 12 hours of yoga, eco-friendly accommodation, delicious plant-based meals and a 1hr massage included, you’ll find all the ingredients you need for a perfect long-weekend getaway.

Led by Yoga Tree Taupo owner Heather Sharplin, this 3-night, 4-day retreat is based at Raglan’s Solscape – an eco-lodge and community nestled at the base of Mt. Karioi, with stunning views across the Tasman Sea.

Heather Sharplin

Heather is the owner of the Yoga Tree Taupo – practicing yoga for 10 years, and teaching for four. Heather’s yoga journey began in Christchurch, under lyengar teacher Wendy Brown. Then, seven years ago, she moved to Taupo – in search of a new life away from the destruction of the devastating Christchurch earthquakes.

Now training under lyengar teacher Suzi Carson, Heather loves being able to practice and teach yoga every day. With a passion for sharing yoga with others, she brings an energy to her teaching that’s both light-hearted and heartfelt. Practicing and teaching with compassion and empathy, while also challenging her students to strive for their limits.

Heather works with a range of ages and abilities. She has completed her RYT500, and is currently waiting to sit her assessment for lyengar Yoga J1 and 2. She looks forward to helping guests on the Solscape retreat find the best version of themselves – health, heart, and mind.
