Ask anyone about the art scene in Raglan and the name Jenny Rhodes will without a doubt arise. Born and bred in Raglan, she is by far the longest standing local artist and is highly respected withn the community. Much of Jenny's work is inspired by the variety of coastal, town, native bush and country-side that makes Raglan-Whaingaroa an artists delight.
Jenny works in water colours, acrylics and mixed media. Her beach-combing results in 3-D creations that she sells at the local art markets. She has work for sale at "Show Off" and the Raglan Harbour View Hotel.
She is available for commissioned work in Raglan or will travel where requested. Jenny also enjoys portrait work and can work from photos if neccessary.
