Ignite your Sol’ fire this evening with a winter-warming evening of kai and live music at Solscape.

Come and enjoy delicious wood fired pizza from our Conscious Kitchen, while listening to a live musical performance kicking off with Karen Hunter and followed by a live-looping performance by Matiu Te Huki.

Conscious Kitchen will be open from 5-9pm serving wood fired pizza, Coffee, tea’s and sweet treats.

Music will run from 6.00pm – 9pm.

Kārena Hunter
With over 35 years of performance experience behind her, Kārena’s stage presence is both gentle and strong.
Kārena is a Pākeha New Zealander with Cornish, Irish and Scottish ancestry. She offers songs to direct our focus on awakening collective humanity. Kārena uses guitar, voice, mandolin and loops to create heart charged soundscapes
that draw deep from the
well of our collective spirit.

Singer and live looping artist of soul-stirring roots music, Matiu will be bringing to Solscape his powerful connecting presence and positively inspiring, unifying lyrical messages. Matiu’s music has a strong Maori flavour, using haka, chants and traditional Maori instruments, backed by grabbing grooves, deep, beautifully crafted bass lines, funky rhythms and magical melodies that will stay with you well after the show ends, all held up by a pillar of Pacific passion and top class technical precision. Matiu is well-known for creating the energy that opens portals of paradise.
